Pjd have extensive knowledge of the installation, repair and maintenance of material and product conveying systems.
Although not a specialised manufacturer of conveyor systems, we install, repair, maintain and manufacture replacement parts, the latter being a facility our customers find to be very advantageous especially on more established plant where "off the shelf parts" are no longer available.

Dust Handling
Our involvement and experience with the handling of waste dust product within the power industry goes back to the mid 1980's, since that time we have undertaken many projects from boiler bottom ash through to fine spent PF dust handling.
Typical examples of the services we offer are:
- Ash hopper overhauls including internal and external plate and structural repairs
- Ashing, inspection and rodding doors overhauled and manufactured
- Sluiceway repairs (Tile & refractory)
- Sluice gates and diverters overhauled and manufactured
- Ash crusher repairs and replacement
- Ash and slurry conveying pipe-work, basic, tiled or Ni-hard coating, repaired or supplied.
- Underground pipe trench repair service i.e. new covers manufactured and installed, structural steel repaired, trench cleaning.
- Dust conditioning plant repairs, precipitators etc
- Air slides overhauled and manufactured

Relocation of plant from shell boilers to motors / gearboxes, conveyor systems and much more.
We do the whole service including transportation, loading and unloading, setting, alignment, connection to services through to final commissioning..."the whole package" undertaken safely to budget and complete with relevant quality control and documentation.
Pjd Eng will appoint a Senior Project Manager who will take responsibilty for the project and liaise directly with our customers nominated representative. In common with all projects undertaken by the company, an initial meeting will be called between the Senior Project Manager, and the client. This will confirm the project aims, schedules, communication channels and project timescales. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the company fulfilling its obligations within the contract timescales. In particular, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for:
