We at PJD have ever growing experience in pressure part work, from small-bore to main steam big butt welding. We retain throughout the year a a nucleus of some of the top pressure welders and fitters in the country. Our operatives show total dedication to the company born though continual employment and financial reward for quality. This bed-rock of experienced qualified craftsmen enables us to respond quickly and professionally to customer's emergency call-outs and unplanned outages.
As a major player in the UK repair and maintenance pressure part sector, we regularly undertake boiler plant repairs involving up to 10,000 welds, each weld being treated as an individual and documented as such.
With certification BSEN ISO 9001 we can assist with or provide the following services:
- Planned and emergency boiler pressure part replacement.
- Complete rehabilitation of boiler and pressure part systems.
- New pressure part system installations.
- Advice on interpretation and pending changes of British, European and American boiler standards.
- Design of nozzles, ends, thermal sleeves and other details.

- Checking of pressure parts for fire-side corrosion, gas flow-induced vibration and specification of suitable cost effective remedies.
- Pendant and economiser element refurbishment or replacement.

- Waterwall panel replacements (singular or modular).
- Main steam "boiler stop" valve refurbishment or replacement.
- Feed system overhauls.
